Introduction of special mechanical seals used in FGD

The lime slurry used in FGD of Coal-burn power plant has maximum temperature of 70℃, PH value 4-8, content of solid 10-25% and content of chlorine 10000-30000ppm. The lime slurry are ablation slurry.
Our FGD are Careridge ,balance and single mechanical seals. the spring of this type is out of medium. The material of stationary and rotation ring are both silicon carbide. It has very good capability on resisting solid particles.

Notice: water rinsing. Keep the water flowing, the water pressure should not be too high. When the products need rinse inside, the water pressure should higher than the medium pressure 0.1MPa. Rinse the pump chamber by water when turn on and off the pumps.

WFGD process:

Basic absorb principle is mixing the limestone and water become limestone slurry, after that the slurry will touch the SO2 and fuel gas in absorber in order to clean the acidity air and some solid particles.
75% of China electricity are made by coal.1-2% of coal are sulfur, therefore the SO2, which is produced when burnt, will let into atmosphere and course a harm to the environment. To set a WFGD equipment will protect our environment.
